Welcome to TxT Snap (“the App”), provided by AujlaX (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Summary

No contacts access, no location tracking, no advertising SDKs.
We collect only what’s needed to create an account and deliver chat features.
You control your content. You can delete messages and request account deletion.
We do not sell your personal data.

Information We Collect

Account Data: username, display name; hashed credentials or auth tokens.
User Content: messages, HD images, videos, PDFs you send or receive.
Diagnostics & Usage: basic logs (e.g., errors, performance metrics), device model/OS version, and approximate timestamps to keep the service reliable.

What We Do Not Collect

No address book/contacts.
No precise location or background location.
No advertising identifiers or third-party trackers.

Why We Use Your Information

Authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
Send and receive messages and media between you and your friends.
Secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
Comply with legal obligations.

Permissions

Camera – if you choose to capture photos/videos in the app.
Photos/Media Library – to pick or save images/videos/PDFs you select.
Microphone – only when recording video with audio (if you use that feature).
Notifications (optional) – to alert you about new messages.

Permissions are requested at the moment you try to use the related feature. You can revoke them in your device settings.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers (e.g., hosting, storage, analytics strictly for crash/performance) under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for our instructions. We may also disclose information to comply with the law or defend legal claims.

Data Storage & Retention

Messages & Media: stored to deliver your chats and to sync across your devices. You may delete your messages; residual copies may persist briefly in backups.
Account Data: kept while your account is active. If you request deletion, we delete or anonymize within a reasonable period unless law requires longer retention.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to improve safeguards.

Your Rights & Choices

Access, correct, or delete your account data.
Export or delete your content where supported.
Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR).

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place for such transfers.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Effective” date above and, when appropriate, notify you in the app.
